MEET BRENDAN
A lifelong Lake County resident, Brendan started his first business in Lake County at the age of 20, providing aviation regulatory consulting services to organizations implementing drone technology, before eventually negotiating a successful acquisition in 2020. Through this work, Brendan developed a strong history of fiercely advocating for effective policy at the state and federal level, and is proud to continue that body of work locally within his community.
Brendan currently serves on the City of Waukegan Community Development Block Grants board, overseeing the approval and disbursement of federal funding to nonprofits and city projects that serve Waukegan and greater Lake County. Outside of work, Brendan spends his spare time mentoring startup, social enterprise and nonprofit founders, and is an active search and rescue pilot for the United States Air Force Auxiliary. He lives with his girlfriend Lexie.
With Waukegan at a crossroads, it's important now more than ever to ensure Waukegan has a city council that's responsive to resident's needs. As Alderman, Brendan will work to address the city's many crises, including improving public safety, strengthening our public schools, and providing economic opportunity for all Waukeganites. To address the challenges our city faces, we need Brendan to bring a new approach and generation of leadership to the Waukegan City Council.
